Will religious fanatics and literature that calls for jihad ever be hauled over the coals for hate speech?
Ponda (Goa) : Hindus are the whipping boys for hate speech crusaders. Cases are filed and restrictions are forced on Hindus. ‘Hate Speech’ is used as a tool to oppress Hindus. If this be the case, will religious fanatics and literature that calls for jihad ever be hauled over the coals for hate speech? This question was raised in the symposium on Hate Speech Conspiracy that was organised in the Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav 2023 here on June 18, 2023. Adv. Subhash Jha of the Supreme Court & Bombay High Court, Adv. Ghansham Upadhyaya of Bombay High Court, and Bharat Deshmukh, Ex-Chairman of the Maharashtra and Goa Bar Council participated in this Symposium which was moderated by Mr Narendra Surve, spokesperson HJS.
Will the hate book that calls for jihad ever get censured? – Advocate Subhash Jha
There is no law yet to decide which statement constitutes hate speech. The parliament’s job is to make laws. The function of the judiciary is to administer justice according to that law. What were those who claim hate speech at the drop of a hat doing during the Kashmiri genocide? Hindus are being conspiratorially displaced from Bengal. No one claims hate speech there. If hate speech leads to action/punishment, then when will the hate book that calls for jihad get censured? Are Hindus agreeable to India becoming an Islamic nation? If not, Hindus have no choice but to make India a Hindu Rashtra. Therefore, Hindus should strive 24 hours to make India a Hindu Rashtra.
There may not be even a single speech of Owaisi sans hate speech – Advocate Ghansham Upadhyaya
We are treated as casteist when we fight cases on behalf of Hindu activists. Hindus keep mum when antiHindu statements are issued. But people from other religions immediately unite for the common cause. Religious fanatics issue hateful statements. There may not be even a single speech of Owaisi which does not have hate speech. For this, Hindus should unite and serve Dharma.
Advocate Bharat Deshmukh said that Hindus are being targeted through ‘hate speech’.
