National duty to remove traces of invaders – Durgesh Parulkar, Author and speaker, Thane, Maharashtra
None of the Mughal emperors did any humanitarian work. Mughal emperors are known for their brutality. On the contrary, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj have worked for the welfare of the Nation & Dharma and humanity. The Taj Mahal is the Tejomahal, the Qutub Minar is the Vishnu Sthambh, while the so-called Gyanvapi mosque is a temple of Lord Shiva. Using the names given by the invaders is as good as their glorification. Our history is not one of defeat, but one of victory. If Sharad Pawar wants to call Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar ‘Aurangabad’, then let him. But who is the national ideal, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj or Aurangzeb? Was Aurangzeb’s cruel and inhuman treatment of Sambhaji Maharaj worthy of praise? Does Sharad Pawar have more respect for Aurangzeb compared to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj? We don’t eulogise Aurangzeb, but Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj. It was a ploy of the invaders to destroy our culture by renaming the places whose names had been given by our ancestors. Hence, it is our national duty to remove the names given by invaders, asserted Mr Durgesh Parulkar, Author and speaker, Thane, Maharashtra. He was speaking on Day 6 of the Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav.
Pledge to protect Sanatan Dharma by preventing conversion – H.H. Swami Chittaranjan Maharaj, Shanti Kali Ashram, Amarpur, Tripura
The reality of the extent of conversion in Tripura hits you when you are there. Hindus started converting after 1985-86. My Guru Shantikali Maharaj and I started working to prevent conversion. My elder brother was kidnapped and threatened to tell me to stop my anti-conversion work. But by Guru’s grace I continued my mission. I quit my job to devote my energies to preventing conversion. We received support from Ashok Singhal (of VHP) and Mohan Bhagwat (of RSS), said H.H. Swami Chittaranjan Maharaj, Shanti Kali Ashram, Amarpur, Tripura. He was speaking on Day 6 of the Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav here
* Maharaj added…
1. Christian missionaries infiltrate states using education as a ruse. The states of Manipur and Nagaland have a large number of Hindu converts. 25 pastors, nuns, and 1,000 preachers have come to Tripura and are indulging in conversions.
2. People in Tripura are naive. They value education. Christians have established schools for children there. After 2-3 years of schooling, missionaries meet the parents of the children. They say ‘your child is smart. He has potential. Baptize him. We will give him a good education’. The gullible Hindus are misled and get converted.
3. We are fighting against conversion with Guru’s blessings. We will send back the missionaries who have come from Mizoram and Nagaland in the next 2 years.
4. There are many monks and Saints in the monasteries and temples in Tripura. But conversion is rampant as the Hindus there are not provided education on Dharma. If Hinduism survives, monasteries and temples will survive. So try to save Hindu Dharma first.
5. Every devout Hindu who has come here from every corner of the nation should pledge that we will protect Sanatan Dharma and Hindus by preventing conversion and if need be sacrifice our lives for Dharma.
Material and spiritual success if industrialists perform spiritual practice – Ravindra Prabhudesai, Director, Pitambari Group of Industries
I am able to serve Dharma along with looking after my business only due to Sachchidananda Parabraham Dr Jayant Athavale, Sant Bhaktaraj Maharaj and Paratpar Guru Pande Maharaj’s guidance. Paratpar Guru Pande Maharaj once told me the definition of Udyojak (entrepreneur). He had said, ‘that which leads to worldly and spiritual uplift is called Dharma. Today, in Kaliyuga, Arthashakti (monetary power) has more influence. Therefore, if you ignore the money, it can harm you. As an entrepreneur, it is your responsibility to ensure the worldly and spiritual progress of your employees.’
Our product Pitambari powder is used to clean idols. Later we started manufacturing various products related to daily worship. It is said, ‘he who conveys the knowledge of God to the society, is dearer to God’. People worship Shani to ward off the problems from the sadesathi (seven and a half year period of Shani influence). So we created Shani Upasana, an incense product and used the wrapper to convey information on how to worship Shani. You can also provide information on the importance of chanting the name of the family deity and Shri Gurudeva Dutt for attaining bliss on your product covers. Then the message of spiritual practice reaches thousands. Nowadays everyone is busy. They think spiritual practice is for old age. Professionals should realize that there are many difficulties in business.
Spiritual practice can help you tide over all these difficulties by God’s grace. The employees in all 15 departments of my company pray and recite the Maruti stotra every day. Along with this, we have planned for 1500 employees to get regular satsang. If the employees in your establishment are sattvik, there will be no corruption. If we get them to start doing spiritual practice, then not only does our profit increase, it also counts as our service to Dharma.
The struggle to oust Islamic encroachments from forts and raise the Bhagwa there will continue – Harshad Khanvilkar, Yuva Sangathak, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti
Forts are symbols of valour. Encroachments on them by religious fanatics is Land Jihad. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is remembered because of the forts. However today, the proliferation of mosques and graves there makes one wonder if these forts belonged to the Mughals. The Archeological department has ignored this. This issue is not limited to Maharashtra, but seen across India. The roots of secularism have become so deeply entrenched in Hindus that the effects are seen in claims that the Durgadevi temple on Durgadi Fort is a mosque, apart from the mazaar (tomb) built near the archeology office on Kolaba Fort in Raigad, the Islamic encroachment on Shivdigarh, Raigad in Mumbai, Vandangad in Satara, Parola Peshwa era fort in Jalgaon, said Mr Harshad Khanvilkar, Yuva Sangathak, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. He was speaking on Day 6 of the ongoing Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav.
He further said…
1. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Hindu organisations worked against this [Islamic encroachment]. Many Hindu organizations put up a long fight to have a large structure that was illegally built around Afzal Khan’s tomb at Pratapgad. Finally on 10th November 2022 (Shiv Pratapdin), the illegal structure was demolished.
2. The samadhis of Bajiprabhu Deshpade and Phulajiprabhu Deshpande at Vishalgad in Kolhapur are severely neglected, while the government paid Rs 5 lakh for Rehman Baba’s dargah. A campaign was launched against this by the ‘Vishalgarh Rakshan ani Atikramanvirodhi Kruti Samiti’ (Committee for the protection and against encroachment of Vishalgarh). The struggle will continue till this dargah is removed.
3. In order to prevent Islamic encroachment on the forts, the ‘Maharashtra Gad-Durg Samvardhan Morcha’ (The Conservation of Forts in Maharashtra march) was launched in March 2023. The protestors demanded that the government form a Committee for the Conservation of Forts. 1500 fans of Shivaji Maharaj and devout Hindus attended the morcha. Maha Tourism Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha met the protestors and assured them of appropriate action.
4. This battle to defend the forts is a battle for self-respect and history. Forts must be protected to show the bravery and prowess of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to the future generations. Only slogans of ‘Har Har Mahadev’ should resound from the forts and the Bhagwa should be hoisted there again. The struggle will have to continue until this is achieved.
