This grave mistake has hurt feelings of all Maharashtrians. He also wrote that in case he did not get immediate reply, he would take the matter to all Hindu organization in Maharashtra as Shivaji Maharaj is a pride of Maharashtra, Marathi population.

Shri. Vikas Chaudhary, the editor called up Shri. Jagatap and accepted that it was a big mistake to omit reference of Chhatrapati Shivaji; but he claimed that it was not done by the author on purpose and no attempt was made to conceal history. The editor informed that new edition of the book is being published in April and the mistake would be rectified. History involving Maratha kings will be incorporated in new edition and a copy would be sent to Shri. Jagtap.
