Special Discussion on ‘Can the fire engulfing France affect India ?’

India will face the same plight as France if the Indian Government does not take strict measures! – Anil Dhir, Scholar

France is considered to be a secular country in Europe. After World War 2, France opened its borders to refugees. The present riots in France are not a sudden phenomenon, but it is the outcome of preparations of 3–4 decades. The French people are facing the serious consequences of the failure of secularism thrust upon them. The other countries in Europe have now become alert and whatever happened in France, can happen anywhere. Today, in India, Rohingyas and Bangladeshi Muslims are being illegally settled in many parts of the country; employment is created for them. If the Indian Government does not take harsh measures now, India will face a similar situation to France, warned Mr Anil Dhir, Scholar and the Convener of ‘The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage’, Bhubaneswar, Odisha while speaking in the online special discussions programme held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on ‘Can the fire engulfing France affect India?’

Mr Dhir said further that Poland and Japan did not allow intrusion right from the beginning. Australia and New Zealand are also trying to take similar measures. Now, after the violence, they are trying to pass stringent laws in France. India should learn from this example and pass strict laws against intrusion and stay.

Mr Vinod Bansal, the Spokesperson of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), who also participated in the discussion programme, stated that presently, riots were staged in France. It has been the global pattern of minorities. They first go as refugees; then, they destroy the local culture, legacy, and historical structures and make the citizens of the host country, refugees; followed by bringing the country under the Rule of ‘Dar-ul-Islam’. Rohingya Muslims, who have illegally entered India in this manner, pose a similar peril for India. Many ‘mini-Pakistan’ have been created in India. Now, the citizens will have to unite and help the Government to eliminate anti-national forces in this country.

Ms Maria Wirth, a renowned German author, said on the occasion that the recent riots in France were pre-planned. Political leaders in France and other countries are making use of Muslim refugees for riots and violence, but there is no need to support the riots staged by Muslim refugees in France. India has to be the most vigilant considering the overall situation in France.
