HJS effect : Kona Industries renders apology for denigrating Hindu Deities

Hindus should offer gratitude at the feet of Bhagavan Srikrushna for this success !

Mumbai : ‘Kona Industries’ a company manufacturing electrical equipment was printing pictures of ‘Om’, ‘Ganapati, Srikrushna, Saibaba’ on the box of night-lamps. This was observed by Shri. Shivaji Vatkar, District Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad; when he motivated the Company to stop such denigration. 1. Shri. Vatkar realized denigration of Hindu Deities through packaging box when he bought one lamp. He immediately wrote to the company stating that boxes packing lamps are later thrown in dust-bins resulting in denigration of Deities. It is hurting religious sentiments of Hindus and can be treated as an offense. It can also adversely affect business of the company.

2. On receiving the letter, Shri. Prakash Motwani, the managing Director of the company called up Shri. Shivaji Vatkar and praised activities undertaken by HJS extending invitation to meet. 3. The company has rendered apology through a letter for the denigration and expressed thanks for creating awareness towards the issue; with a promise to not print pictures of Deities or religious symbols again on boxes of lamps.
