Ponda (Goa) : For those converted Hindus who wish to undergo the purification process (shuddhikaran) and for foreigners who would like to embrace Hindu Dharma, Sanatan Sanstha has established the 'Hindu Dharmadeeksha Kendra' here, on the 5th of March. The highlight of the inauguration was the return of a converted Hindu to Hindu Dharma. This is a milestone event in Sanatan Sanstha's untiring efforts to protect Dharma. The establishment of the Kendra is a firm step in the direction of welcoming more Hindu converts into Hindu Dharma.
The converted Hindu expressed his desire to return to Hindu Dharma and requested permission to do so from the Brahmans present. He also was asked to take atonement. A 'mundansanskar' and 'kshaura vidhi' were followed by 'panchagavya prashan'. After this there was a Ganapati puja and abhishek and the 'naamkaran' (naming ceremony). In the end a 'shuddhi homa' was performed and the first person to pass through the Hindu Dharmadeeksha Kendra was welcomed in to Hindu Dharma. The entire procedure was conducted by the seeker-priests of the Sanatan Sadhak Purohit Pathshala.
This Kendra has been established with the aim of preserving and propagating Hindu Dharma, welcoming foreigners who wish to embrace Hindu Dharma and also to put an end to conversions of Hindus.
