Thane (Maharashtra) : Pandavas had actually stayed at Pandav Wada in Jalgaon district; but that holy land is in sorry state and no ruler has paid attention to it for the past 65 years since independence. The Government should take all necessary steps, within the framework of Indian Constitution, at the earliest, for preserving this historical treasure which is witness to ancient Indian traditions and if political parties want Hindus’ votes, they should include demands made by Hindus in respective election manifesto in the interest of the nation. A representation with the above demands was submitted by Rashtreeya Hindu Andolan to Shri. P. Velrasu at Thane. He was very much impressed with the large number of signatures on the representation and promised to take out ten photo copies of the representation and send them to concerned departments. Shri. Vikram Bhoir, ‘Saha-Mantri’ of VHP for Thane, Sanatan Sanstha’s Sou. Savita Lele and Shri. Dayanand Hazare, a devout Hindu were present on the occasion.
