Mumbai: Javed Jaffrey, Naved Jaffery and Ravi Behl – these 3 actors anchoring a dance competition called ‘Boogie Woogie’ were in attires generally identified with Hindu saints. These 3 persons ridiculed Hindu saints by using words from spiritual science although their talk was very indecent. Their actions and gestures were objectionable as they ridiculed Hindu saints. (Had these actors ridiculed persons revered in other religions, the program would have had to be stopped immediately; but unfortunately Hindus are not strong enough, therefore, anyone and everyone makes a mockery of Hindu deities and saints – Editor)
The program went on for an hour. (This program is watched generally by Hindus and it went on for an hour; yet no Hindu protested against it. If Hindus are against their own Dharma, why should God protect them? – Editor) . The 3 anchors wore saffron clothes, with their hair style generally associated with Hindu saints. They had beads round their necks and were wearing sunglasses. (Here Hindus may note that Jaffrey brothers were not attired in clothes identified with a Moulvi or a peer. – Editor). After each dance item the contestants were asked very indecent questions by these 3 anchors – whether the contestants were having an affair with each other and if their answer was in the negative, they were asked the reason for not having any relationship! They used words normally in spiritual science for asking such indecent questions. Shri. Behl was shaking his sunglasses as if he was showing some miracle.
When one from the audience told them that he wanted to become a star, the 3 started dancing weirdly and singing ‘twinkle twinkle little star …..’ Then they made some sound and a star was created around that member from the audience! In this manner, they made mockery of miracles generally shown by a Guru with the purpose of increasing faith of disciples. The long hair kept by saints were also ridiculed when Naved Jaffery said that there were lice in his hair, on which Javed advised him to do ‘sheershasana’ so that the lice would come out on their own. One of the contestants told them that he had a problem and wanted its solution. Naved said that if they had solutions to problems, they would not have become ‘babas’. (All the acts were most condemnable and one who remains calm even after reading this piece, is not fit to be called a Hindu. Hindus should take the producers of the program to task.- Editor)
