Sangali: People are coming forward to support the agitation started by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) against the proposed anti-Hindu Bills viz. Black Magic Bill and Temple Take-over Bill. The protest against these Bills is being registered in various ways – like staging demonstrations, protest marches and giving representations etc. HJS has been creating awareness amongst Hindus on the proposed Bills; as a result, many gram-panchayats, organizations, trusts of temples and religious institutions have sent representations to the Government for withdrawal of these Bills.
Many BJP leaders from Sangali, Miraj and Kupwad have sent protest letters to the State Chief Minister. Besides, H. H. Gurunath Kotnis Maharaj, deputy district head of Shiv Sena Shri. Sadeep Sutar, Bhumata Nagari Sahakari Pata-Sanstha, Sree Sainath Mahila Nagari Sahakari Pata-Sanstha, Mahakali Nagari Sahakari Pata–Sanstha from Kanwathe Mahankal have informed HJS that they have also sent representations to the Chief Minister.
