HJS drive to prevent malpractices in celebration of Holi and Rang-Panchami festivals
Amaravati : A representation was submitted to Shri. Ashok Dhotre, senior Police Inspector (PI) at Rajapeth Police Station on 13th March for prevention of malpractices taking place on the occasion of Holi and Rang-Panchami festivals. Shri. Manav Buddhdev of ‘Yoga Vedanta Samiti’; Shri. Yogesh Maharaj Joshi, Priest of ‘Sri Amba Devi Mandir’; Shri. Pavan Kurwade of ‘Shivaji Yuvak Mandal’; Shri. Vishal Tidake of ‘Jeevan – Arpan Bahu-uddeshiya Sanstha’ and Shri. Kiran Duse, Pratik Bhakare, Akash Chikhalkar, Gaurav Hatekar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) were present on the occasion. Similar representation was submitted to Shri. Deepak Kurulkar, senior PI at Gadagenagar police station on 14th March when Shri. Kiran Duse and 12 devout Hindus from training class were present. Representation was submitted to Outward Department in the office as suggested by Resident District Collector, Shri. Teju Singh Pawar. Reporter of ‘City’ channel interviewed HJS activist.

Ramnath (Alibaug) – Representation was submitted to Shri. Satish Bagal, Dy. Resident District Collector when Shri. Nitin Gawand, Shri. Vishwas Gawand, Shri. Akshay Gawand and Sou. Vishakha Athavale of HJS were present. Shri. Bagal commended the drive undertaken by HJS and promised to take necessary action after discussing the issue with Superintendent of Police.
Positive response by Additional Superintednent of Police at Akola
Akola – Additional Superintendent of Police, Nikesh Khatmode – Patil was submitted representation on behalf of HJS against malptractices observed during Holi celebration when he said that the issue would be discussed during meeting and will be mentioned even in news bulletin published by police. Similar representation was given to Superintendent from District Collector’s office. Shri. Ajay Khot of HJS, advocate Sou. Shruti Bhat, Sou. Prema Kankani, Sou. Manjula Muthal, Sou. Medha Joshi etc. were present.
