Thane : Good response to Shivajayanti programs organised by HJS

Lectures, exhibitions and huge processions organized by HJS at various places on the occasion of Shiva Jayanti : good response from people

Thane : Shivajayanti was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm. Statues of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were installed in different parts paying homage. Huge processions were taken out at many places and lectures narrating life history of Shivaji Maharaj were conducted.

‘Palakhi-yatra’ was organized by ‘Swarajya Pratishthan’, Kalyan in the evening which was concluded with guidance by Dr. Uaday Dhuri who explained different special qualities of Maharaj and the present condition of nation and Dharma. He spoke about cow-slaughter, conversion, position of Marathi language etc. in his guidance. An exhibition, through ‘flex’ boards, on atrocities against Kashmiri Pundits and Bangla Deshi Hindus was put up at the venue.   

‘Shiva-Premi Mandal’ from Kalamkhande (Murbad) organized lecture on the topic of ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and need for Hindu Rashtra’. Shri. Ajay Sambhus of HJS addressed people. Bajarang Dal and organizations of Shivaji- patrons took out procession at Daighar in which more than 600 devout Hindus; besides 225 two-wheelers took part.

On behalf of Arya Sanatan Samiti, a march was taken out at Mumbra for which police had refused to grant permission and police had threatened few members of these Mandals over phone advising them to cancel the program; but all organizations went ahead with their plan and procession was taken out in a very peaceful manner without any untoward incident.
