Stop ‘Love Jihad’ by banning non-Hindus from entering the Garba venues: HJS to organisers

HJS Appeal to Navaratri Festival Committees and Garba-organisers !

Navaratri festival is starting soon. It is a festival to worship Adi-Shakti (Primal Energy), but in this period, ‘Love Jihadis’ hatch a plot to deceive and harm Stree-Shakti. These ‘Love Jihadis’ hide their identity, assume fake Hindu names, tie sacred threads to their wrists, and enter Garba venues. During this period, many cases of ‘Love Jihad’ are reported where Hindu young girls and women fall prey. Against this background, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has appealed to Navaratri Festival Committees and Garba organisers to be cautious and ban non-Hindus from joining Garba programmes for the security of Hindu young girls/women and to maintain law and order. HJS also suggested that boards be displayed at the entrance of venues of such programmes about prohibition of non-Hindus and checking of Aadhaar cards of all the participants at the entrance to ensure the same.

A special CBI court in Jharkhand has recently awarded life imprisonment to Rakibul Hasan, who married national shooter Tara Sahdev by introducing him as a Hindu and then beat her to convert to Islam. Rakibul’s mother, who pressured her to convert, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. From this case, ‘Love Jihad’ has once again been proved legally. In the last few years, Hindu young girls have been drawn into false ‘Love Traps’, and forced to convert, and the many Shraddha Walkers who opposed it have been brutally murdered. Not only pro-Hindu organisations but also even Christian organisations and their religious leaders have raised their voices on this issue. Two former Chief Ministers of Kerala, viz. Oommen Chandy and VS Achuthanandan have accepted the gravity of the issue of ‘Love Jihad’. The law has been passed against ‘Love Jihad’ in six states and demand to pass similar laws even in States like Maharashtra and Goa is growing. A large number of pro-Hindu organisations along with HJS have taken out a large number of marches for this law to be passed in Maharashtra. So also the Hon. Chief Minister has also assured to pass the ‘Anti-Love Jihad Act’.

On this background, to save Hindu girls from ‘Love Jihad’ security systems should be set up at the entrance of Garba venues. The Aadhaar Card of every entrant should be checked, their name ascertained and only then, the individual should be let inside. Tilak may be applied on the forehead of every participating young boy /man at the entrance to keep non-Hindu ‘Love Jihadis’ away from this festival for the safety of young Hindu men and women.
