Special dialogue on the topic of ‘Support to Jihad by Pakistani cricketer !’
In the ongoing World Cup cricket match against Sri Lanka in India, Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Rizwan dedicated Pakistan’s victory to the Muslims of Gaza amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. Seeing this propaganda about Islam in Cricket World Cup, I have lodged a complaint to ICC (International Cricket Council) and BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) that the infusion of the Islamic Jihad in sports should be stopped with immediate effect leaving the sport to be played in its untainted purity. Let sport remain a sport, don’t Islamise it. Political analyst and Supreme Court Advocate Vineet Jindal made a clear assertion that if anyone speaks of jihad and terrorism in India, the land of Sages with a population of 110 crore Hindus, every Hindu will strongly oppose it. He was speaking during a special dialogue on ‘Support to Jihad by Pakistani cricketers !’ organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
Advocate Vineet Jindal further said that not only in cricket but also in football, on international platforms like UNO, an attempt is being made to show that Islam is strong and big, to create a sense of inferiority among other religions. Pakistani players offer namaz on the cricket field. In the last 10 days after I complained, I have received more than 60 threatening calls from Pakistan, Turkey, etc. Please note that our opposition is for dragging religion in sports.
At this time, East and North East India Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Mr Shambhu Gaware said that from the year 1982 till 2023 Pakistani cricketers have linked playing cricket with India with Jihad. Many Indian cricketers like Srikanth, Ganguly, Irfan Pathan have faced attacks and stone pelting while playing against Pakistan. When the slogans of Pakistan Zindabad are heard in Hyderabad during the World Cup cricket tournament, the secularists here rejoice; but when Jai Shri Ram is chanted in Ahmedabad, they feel dejected. We demand that ICC should take action against Pakistani cricketers offering Namaz, chanting Allah-hu-Akbar, supporting terrorists in Gaza on the field and ban Jihad supporters from playing.
