‘E-TV Kannada’ continues to denigrate Deities !

Hindus, who are remaining indifferent towards Deities’ insult, are not just lifeless but will draw wrath of Deities by committing such sin !
Mangaluru – ‘E–TV Kannada’, a private TV channel continues to denigrate Hindus’ Deities. Earlier, in a program called ‘Comedy Circle’, there was denigration of ‘Ramayana’. The issue was taken up with the channel by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and pro-Hindu activists, when the channel promised that care would be taken in future to see that religious sentiments of Hindus would not be hurt through any program telecast on the said channel; however, the denigration has not stopped. Now in a program titled ‘Dancing Star’ telecast on this channel, there is denigration of Bhagavan Srikrushna, Sriram, Maruti and Bhakta Prahlad etc. The nature of the program is a dance competition in which characters from ‘Puranas’ are asked to dance on the tune of modern film songs. Thus Deities and great personalities from ‘Puranas’ are insulted.
Mockery made in the program
- Once, a judge of the program said, “Even I was thinking to be in attire like ‘Narasimha’”. It was shown that the program-host attired in the form of ‘Hiranyakashyapu’ sleeps in his lap, and ‘Narasimha’ gives him kiss. The program-host puts his hand in the mouth of Narasimha and says, “I had a wish to put my hand in lion’s mouth and today it was fulfilled.”
- Srikrushna is talking to a girl over phone when Satyabhama sulks asking Him, “Is that a girl?”
- Sriram is shown as jumping and somersaulting while songs are played.
(Hindus have no love and respect towards own Dharma; therefore, their seats of worship are constantly ridiculed. Millions of people go to temple every day; perform ‘puja’ observe fast etc; but pay no attention when their Deities are insulted in such manner. How will they be blessed by Deities ? We immediately oppose when someone insults our parents; but Hindus do not do so when the matter is related to Deities; therefore, Hindus condition has become pathetic everywhere. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
