Mumbai : ‘Sanatan Hindu Dharma-Deeksha Kendra’ was set up on 5th March 2014 for re-admission of converted Hindus in Hindu Dharma as per their wish and conversion of non-Hindus from abroad who are interested in embracing Hindu Dharma. Ceremony to purify converted non-Hindus was held on 3rd April.

In the beginning, the persons converted to other religions made a request to present Priests seeking permission to adopt Hindu Dharma and atonement was taken as per science. After ‘Mundan- sanskar’ and ‘Kshaur-vidhi’, ‘Panchagavya’ was consumed and after ‘Ganapati-pujan’, ‘Punyah-vachan’ and ‘abhishek’, naming ceremony was performed. Finally, ‘Shuddhi (purification)-homa (fire)’ was performed and 4 converted persons were re-converted and admitted to Sanatan Hindu Dharma. Students of studying in ‘Vedapathashala’ supervised and performed the rituals.

The Kendra has been set up with the purpose of converting non-Hindus from other countries who are interested in adopting Hindu Dharma and to prevent conversion of Hindus by propagating Hindu Dharma.
