Pune – Many innocent people were killed in Hamas’ terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel. They have also brutally murdered children. Now Israel is retaliating against terrorism. Hamas is a terrorist organization. So we stand firmly with any nation or organisation, and not just Israel, that stands against terrorism. Swatantryaveer Savarkar was the first to support the creation of independent Israel in 1948. Later Israeli parliament also acknowledged this gesture. That’s why this march in support of Israel has been started from Veer Savarkar Memorial in Sarasbagh, said Mr Satyaki Savarkar, Swatantryaveer Savarkar’s grandson. On October 7, 2023 Israel was attacked by the terrorist organization Hamas. The march was organized in Pune on November 11 to protest this cowardly attack and to offer tributes to the civilians who lost their lives in this attack. Mr Savarkar was speaking on the occasion.
The march was organized by the ‘Har Ghar Savarkar Samiti’ and ‘Bharat Israel Maitri Manch’. The march ended at the New English School on Tilak Road. Various dignitaries expressed their support for Israel in this walk. Over 300 people including dignitaries such as Mr Ranjit Natu (of India-Israel Maitri Manch), Mr Vidyadhar Nargolkar, Mr Swapnil Naik of ‘Patit Pawan Sangathan’, Mr Jagdish Shetty of ‘Virat Hindusthan Sangam’, Adelia Penkar, an Israeli citizen, as well as activists from Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and other like-minded organisations participated.
