Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s free self-defence training camp for girls
Nipani (Karnataka) : On November 19, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organised a free self-defence training camp for young women at Maharishi Valmiki Bhavan in Nipani. In this camp, HJS volunteers provided guidance on the importance of Hindu Dharma, India’s heroic history, the current situation of young women and how to overcome the difficulties faced by them among other topics. Self-defence techniques were taught. The girls who attended the camp shared that they realised the importance of learning self-defence due to the camp.
Some of the young women sought self-defence training classes in their area, while two young women expressed their desire to volunteer with the HJS.
