2 day state level temple conference in Bengaluru concludes
-
More than 500 representatives of temples attend conference
Bengaluru : The inauguration of the Shri Ram Mandir and the installation of Shri Ram’s idol there is a striking example of what Hindus can accomplish with unity. In 2016, a pillar of the temple was found while repairing the minar in Raichur. Similarly, while renovating a mosque in Mangaluru, ruins of a temple were found there. Why won’t it be possible to build temples elsewhere in the same way as the Hindu organizations united and built the Ram Mandir asked Mr Ramesh Shinde, the national spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
He was speaking at the State Level Temple Conference organized by Karnataka Devasthana-Matha mattu Dharmika Sansthegala Mahasangh (Federation of temples-monastaries and religious organisations, Karnataka) and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti on 16th and 17th December at ‘Gangamma Thimmaiah Inn & Convention Centre’, Bengaluru. H.H. Shri Shri Soumyanath Swamiji (of Adichunchangiri Math), H.H. Dr. Maharishi Guruji (of Bharatiya Sampradaya Trust), Advocate Ashok Haranhalli and H.H. Let’s resolve to implement dress code in 500 temples of the state! – Mohan Gowda, State Spokesperson, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti
Today there is an etiquette in every field. People have to wear a prescribed uniform to many places including police stations, government offices, schools. So there should be a dress code even when visiting Hindu temples. If the dress code is enforced for the temples, the devotees can get the full benefit of the Sattvikata (divinity) of the temples. Let us all unite and resolve to implement dress code in 500 temples in the state.
