Satara, January 1 – ‘Tarun Bharat’ group organised a celebration on the occasion of 28th anniversary of its Satara edition here. On this occasion, various organisations were felicitated for their outstanding contribution to social welfare. Mrs Bhakti Daphale (of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti) and Mrs Rupa Mahadik (of HJS’ Ranaragini wing) were felicitated by the dignitaries.
The function was held on the lawns of Hotel Radhika Palace here. MP Srinivas Patil, District Collector Jitendra Dudi, District Superintendent of Police Sameer Sheikh, former MLAs Dilip Yelgaonkar, Prabhakar Gharge, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Dynaneshwar Khilari, Editor Jaywant Mantri, Satara Edition in charge Deepak Prabhawalkar and other dignitaries attended the event.
