will rule over Maharashtra ! – Pujya Muniraj Shri Vinamrasagarji
It is a very disgraceful thing that in Maharashtra, where, Gobrahman Pratipalak Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was born, in the same Maharashtra more than 25 lacs of cows are being slaughtered every year. In order to prevent cow-slaughter a committee protecting cow progeny (Govansh) should be formed in every Taluka. Preparing a ground before the Legislative Assembly elections, stating that the one who will work for cow-protection all over Maharashtra, will rule over Maharashtra. We have to force the Government to pass the ‘Prevention of cow-slaughter Act’ (Gohatya Pratibandhak Kayda). Therefore a call is given by Pujya Muniraj Shri Vinamrasagarji inviting all to participate in the grand gathering at Kalyan offering body, mind and wealth. He was speaking in the meeting organised by Ahimsa Sangh at Mahaveer Jain School in Kalyan. Mr. Sunil Vayle, Shivsena nagarsevak, Mr. Rakesh Mutha, Congress corporator, Mr. Parag Teli, VHP, Mr. Arjun Bhabad, Bajrang Dal, BJP’s Dr. Upendra Dahake, Vice-president of Kalyan city, Mr. Vishwnath Kulkarni, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Mr. Madhav Marathe, Sanatan Sanstha, trustees of many temples and Jain organisations had participated in the meeting.
Pujya Muniraj Shri Vinamrasagarji said further, it is not enough to say that cow-slaughter should be stopped; but everyone has to think that we must stop it. No doubt that the problems are on the rise due to evil-doers but we must remember that the real problem is that, good people are not participating in the mission of stopping the cow-slaughter and therefore the cow-slaughter is continuing. If we put in joint efforts then we can transform the cow-slaughter house at Devnar into a Goshala (Cow-shelter) in its place. The said meeting concluded stating that the next meeting is going be held at Mahaveer Jain School on 7th May to chalk out the plan of further action and the date and venue of the sabha will be announced then.
