Defamation of Lord Krishna in Bombay Times

Mumbai:

The popular supplement of THE TIMES OF INDIA, viz, BOMBAY TIMES, in its edition dated 20/4/2007 on page 6 shows an advertisement of a dance camp with Terence Lewis. The main title of their advertisement is “VASUDEVA TO PRABHUDEVA in 30 days”. VASUDEVA is the name of the highest god in Hindu dharma, who is an expansion of Lord Krishna as clearly mentioned in the Bhagvat Puran. What kind of mockery of our highest god this! Couldn’t the advertisers have used some other line or word to rhyme Prabhudeva.

Would any other religion tolerate such blasphemy if their father’s, Almighty’s or Prophet’s name been used in such a degrading manner. Don’t Hindus have respect for their own god or are we timid, tolerant or simply foolish people who do not find any wrong with such degradations about Hinduism going on day by day.

If this is the pace at which Hinduism is being lost, it will not be long before our sacred religion perishes within time because of our own mistakes.
