Aurangabad: The ‘Mandir Sanrakshan Rashtreeya Dharma Sansad (National Dharma Committee for Protection of Temples (NDCPT) is carrying out activities for protection of temples in Maharashtra. The Committee has, now started to spread its wings even outside the State. A meeting of trustees of various temples was held in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh under the chairmanship of Shri. Yashawant Digambar Deshpande of Sree Kalaram temple Trust.
In Maharashtra Temple Organization, more than 4 lacs temples in the State have been given membership in NDCPT and efforts are made to maintain the sanctity of the temples. It is necessary that trustees of all temples in the country unite to become more commanding. Some of the trustees took initiative and founded a branch of the committee in Ayodhya. This is the first branch of the committee outside Maharashtra. Shri. Deshpande has been appointed as the President of the Ayodhya Managing Committee.
