Real tragedy is Hindus proposing anti-Hindu laws – Kadam

Mumbai: Shri. Ramdas Kadam, Shiv Sena leader and the leader of the Opposition in State Legislative Assembly, while addressing the huge gathering in Mumbai against the proposed anti-Hindu Acts, said that the country was divided in two parts, one as Pakistan for Muslims and the other as Hindustan for Hindus; but it is a tragedy that we have to organize such meetings to create awareness among Hindus. When the division was effected on the basis of religion, why all parties are wooing Muslims. If Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was not born in this country, all of us would have been Muslims.

Who are responsible for bringing such Acts. It is really unfortunate that Hindus are proposing such anti-Hindu Acts. Vilasrao Deshmukh is not a Muslim. But anti-Hindu Acts are proposed by Hindus is the tragedy of this country. We are not against any religion. The State Govt. deceitfully got the Black Magic Bill passed in the Lower House but Shri. Diwakar Raote, Shiv Sena MLA fought against it like Baji Prabhu in the Upper House and the Govt. had to form a 16-member Committee to study pros and cons of the proposed Act.

When American President George Bush visited India, 5 lacs Muslims took out a march to Azad Maidan against him. But we have to struggle so much to collect a few thousands of Hindus together. That is because Muslims are imparted education about their religion. All of them meet in mosques to read ‘namaz’ 5 times in a day. There is proper coordination among them and they can come together in a jiffy without the need to organize such meetings. Hindus are unfortunately not bothered about assaults on Dharma, otherwise how will Vilasrao dare to propose such anti-Hindu Acts. Had such Act been proposed for Muslims, there would have been riots, firing, all Muslims would have come together, closed the roads. But our policy is not to go against Muslims. When the fault lies with us, why blame others for the same. Come what may, we shall not let the Govt. pass such anti-Hindu Acts.
