Adv. Rabindra Ghosh of Bangladesh Minority Watch was threatened by S.P. TM Mozahidul Islam of Lalmonirhat District !

Advocate Rabindra Ghosh of Bangladesh Minority Watch
Good work rewarded with Harrassment !
Bangladesh : On 14th July, 2014, Adv. Rabindra Ghosh of Bangladesh Minority Watch was conducting an enquiry about the attack on Hindu Minorities at Patgram Upazila of Lalmonirhat District (13th July, 2014) and also about the investigations into abduction, rape and forceful conversion to Islam of a minor Hindu girl (age 11 years 9 months). He had contacted Mr. T.M. Mozahidul Islam, Superintendent of Police, who without provacation used profanity and racial slur laced language. The SP said “Do you recollect the incident at Chandpur District while I tried to arrest you for your illegal activities of filming photo and video of the victims relating to land grabbing case while I was the Additional Superintendent of Police, Chandpur?” He also threatened Adv Ghosh not to disturb him any more for any human rights related issues in his jurisdiction. Further, the SP showed his fanaticism when he asked Adv Ghosh “Why don't you fight against Israel to show your human rights activities there, when Israeli soldiers are murdering innocent Muslims in Jerusalem?”
Not a stray incident !
Previously T.M. Mozahidul Islam, (when in the post of Additional Superintendent of Police, Chandpur District, 2010) had tried to snatch away a video camera and illegally confine a BDMW cameraman to suppress the publication of violations of religious rights of a Hindu Temple situated at South Motlab Upazila of Chandpur District.
Recommendations :
Bangladesh Minority Watch is very much concerned about this continuous misuse of power by T.M. Mozahidul Islam, Superintendent of Police, Lalmonirhat. The administration should ask the SP to explain his despicable actions of suppressing Hindu Human Rights and repeated threatening of Adv Rabindra Ghosh.
Administration 'not reachable' !
When Adv. Rabindra Ghosh tried to contact the Inspector-General of Police –Bangladesh and the Chairman of National Human Rights Commission, Bangladesh, they were found to be 'out of reach'!
