Dignitaries at the inauguration program |
Dharashiv (Usmanabad): About 4500 citizens visited the photo-exhibition based on ‘Terrorism in Kashmir and Genocide of Hindus (i.e. the realization of the Truth)’ organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in coordination with the organization called ‘Panun Kashmir’. Many citizens observed that the true situation in Kashmir has never reached the common man. Exhibition was open from 1st to 3rd May.
Shri. Kuldeep Raina, the Chief Secretary of the organization called ‘Panun Kashmir’ thanked Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for holding exhibition of photographs on terrorists’ oppression on Hindus. He said that the meaning of ‘Panun Kashmir’ is ‘My Kashmir’. What is going on in Kashmir for the past 8 years and what is happening since past 20 years?
Under the clause 370, there is Islamic Rule in Kashmir. When Babri Masjid was demolished, there were discussions on the issue in every part of the country; but nobody is interested in talking about thousands of houses and temples demolished in Kashmir. In the year 1990, about 1500 Hindus were killed. Through every mosque, there was a warning given to Hindus to leave the place or else get killed. All the political parties have kept mum about atrocities against Hindus in Kashmir. Hindus should therefore, unite, said Shri. Raina.
An exhibition of photographs taken in Kashmir showing oppression of Hindus has been held at Ramakrushna Paramhans College till 3 rd May. Dr. Veerendra Sinh Tawade, the chief organizer for HJS in Maharashtra said that for the last 17 years, Shri. Raina was in Kashmir and has taken the photographs; many times staking his life. Therefore, we are able to know the real situation in Kashmir. All of us should try to create awareness among people on Kashmir issue.
Now the days recognized by Kashmiri Hindus as ‘Displacement Day’ on 19 th January, as ‘Martyr Day’ on 14th September and ‘Home land Day’ on 28th of December will also be observed by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. These days will be shown even in Sanatan calendar.
‘When all such things were happening against Hindus, what was the Government doing? This shows that the Government is not concerned with any kind of injustice or oppression taking place against Hindus. If all this is to be stopped, Hindus have to come together.’ Many visitors expressed their views in the above manner.
Many eminent personalities like Shri. Vivek Ghalsasi, ex-editor of ‘Dainik Tarun Bharat’, Smt. Rohini Bhosale, chairperson of Panchayat Samiti, Shri. Pravin Kokate, ex- district chief of Shiv Sena, Shri. Darshan Kolase, Municipal Councilor of Congress, Shri. Lakshmikant Jadhav, the district representative of Asaram Bapu Sampradaya, Adv.
