Three-day discussion session at Kolkata on protection of cows (Gou-Rakshan)
Kolkata (West Bengal) – Recently, ‘All India ‘Gou-Raksha Sansthan’, ‘Arya Pratinidhi Sabha’, Bengal and all-India Vidhidnya Parishada jointly held a discussion session for 3 days at the hall of ‘Arya Pratinidhi Sabha’. It was unanimously decided during discussions to make one action plan to prevent transportation of cows to Bengal from the States of Odisha and Jharkhand on the occasion of ‘Bakri Eid’ which is on 6th October this year. The discussion session was attended by 110 devout Hindus from different parts of Bengal.
Shri. Yogesh Shastri ‘Vaidik’- spokeperson of ‘Arya Pratinidhi Sabha’ first explained the purpose and nature of discussion session. Participating devout Hindus spontaneously narrated their experiences and problems faced by them in this context. Advocate Shri. Devidas Shinde, of all-India Vidhidnya Parishada from Pune (Maharashtra), Advocate Shri. Vibhuti Bhushan Palai from Odisha, Advocate Shri. Amrutesh from Bengaluru, Shri. Sudarshan of ‘Punjab Gou-Raksha Dal’, Shri. Upanand Brahmachari, Editor, ‘Hindu Existence’ and Shri. Prakash Malondkar, State Coordinator of HJS for Odisha attended the sessions.
Highlights
1. The organizers of the program said that they were inspired to hold such discussion program after attending the third all-India Hindu Convention held by HJS in June 2014.
2. Advocate Shri. Devidas Shinde, Shri. Pandit Modak, Shri. Ashok Modak from Pune (Maharashtra), Advocate Shri. Amrutesh from Karnataka and Shri. Sudarshan Kaushik from Delhi bore their travel cost and attended the program by flying from respective places. (Look at politicians who go on foreign tours at Government’s cost; whereas devout Hindus sacrifice their money for protection of Dharma! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
3. One activist, working for protection of cows, was keeping away from this mission for past 1-1/2 years due to accusations made against him; but he realized during the session how essential it was to work with extensive goal; so he decided to work as he did earlier.
