Highlights
1. News channels Sun, Raj, Tamijahan, Thanti, Paulimer, Makkal and some leading periodicals like Dhina Malar, Dhina Thanti and Hindu Mitharan gave publicity to the andolan.
2. When activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samit (HJS) had met Tamil Nadu Hindu Mahasabha leader, Mr. Shrikanthan, two Hindu leaders from South India were sitting with him. These leaders said to HJS activists, while undertaking the movement in Chennai that, “if you put up a flex chart with Srikanthan’s name, then more people will participate in this movement and you also will get good publicity.” Commenting upon this, Mr. Shrikanthan said, “Sir, HJS is a very different kind of organization. They have undertaken a mission of establishing a Hindu Nation and are working towards it very peacefully and without expecting any publicity. We have to learn this peculiar quality from them.”
3. Mr. R.D. Prabhu, leader of Bharat Hindu Munnai told an activist of HJS that, our organization had the Flag Hoisting program at 6 places today and we inaugurated them by breaking a coconut instead of our normal practice of cutting a ribbon.
4. Due to the efforts put in by the founder of Hindu Makkal Munnani (Hindu Public Front), Mr. G. Radhakrishnan, all devout organizations in Chennai are united.
