Make available funds for ‘Kumbh Mela’ !

Thane, 29th August – ‘Simhastha Kumbh Mela’ is scheduled to start on 14th July 2015; therefore, necessary funds should be immediately made available for ‘Kumbh Mela’ so as to complete related work on war-footing. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a representation to District Collector, P. Velarasu, with the above demand. Shri. Vijay Khandagale of Bajrang Dal, Sou. Supriya Gaikwad of HJS and Sou. Asha Changan of Sanatan Sanstha were present on the occasion. The other demands made through this representation were protecting religious rights of Kashmiri Hindus, conducting detailed investigations into organizations involved in regular attacks on pro-Hindu leaders in Tamil Nadu.

Wardha (Maharashtra) : Demonstrations held at Wardha under ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’

 

Wardha, 29th August – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti held demonstrations on 27th August 2014 at Shivaji Chowk for various demands like providing protection to Hindus’ pilgrimages in Kashmir; making available funds for ‘Kumbh Mela’ in Nashik; cancelling status asked for Urdu as second language in Telangana etc. About 50 devout Hindus took part in the demonstrations. A representation was submitted to the District Collector after demonstrations.
