Short film titled ‘Importance of protection of Hindu temples’ produced by University for Spiritual Science selected for screening in International short-film festival
Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad) – Global Hindu Heritage and Save Temples organizations had organized first international short-film festival from 22nd to 24th August 2014 at Prasad Lab Theatre, here. The main topics of these films was protection of temples and cows. Many film producing companies from all over the world took part in the festival which was held in India for the first time. 125 short-films were registered in the festival out of which 40 were selected for their special features. Among them, film based on importance of Hindu temples produced by Spiritual University was presented by Hindu Janajagaruti Samiti (HJS). The film was selected and screened in the festival. 1. People liked the subject, research conducted on the same by Spiritual University. The film was very distinctive as compared to others.
2. Many people said that they learnt about importance of temples as per science and the need for their protection, through this short film.
3. Spiritual University and HJS received a medal and certificate from the organizers of this festival viz. Global Hindu Heritage Foundation and savetemples.org.
4. Interview of representatives of HJS was taken based on this short film by ‘Inadu’, the highest selling newspaper in Telangana.
Nuclear scientist Dr. Mannam Murty commends HJS and Spiritual University !
Indian nuclear scientist, Dr. Mannam Murty is the inventor of ‘universal thermal scanner’ which was used by Spiritual University in shooting this film. A DVD of this film was presented by Shri. Mohan Gauda and Shri. Prasanna Vyankatpur of HJS to Dr. Mannam Murthy who was very happy to watch the film. He commended HJS and Spiritual University for making such use of the ‘scanner’.
