Lack of unity amongst Hindus is the cause of such constant denigration of Hindus’ seats of worship !
Devout Hindus rebuke !
Denigration of Sri Ganesha in the form gents’ shirts
Chiplun : In an advertisement published by ‘Parker Readymade Garments’ company, there is denigration of Sri Ganesha by showing Him in form of this company’s shirt. Devout Hindus from Mahad (Dist. Raigad) contacted the company over phone and rebuked them when they agreed to stop denigration but the same advertisement was circulated again. Pro-Hindu activists therefore, went to the shop where such shirts were kept for sale and explained the subject to the owner of the shop giving him a representation in this context. (This incident shows the very need to impart ‘Dharma-shikshan’ (Dharma-Education) to Hindus ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
1. Advertisement of shirts manufactured by ‘Parker Readymade Garments’ has been put up on boards of various Ganesha festival committees, outside shops; so also through handbills distributed to people; in which shirts have been shown in the form of Sri Ganesh. (Devout Hindus from Maharashtra should boycott all products of ‘Parker Readymade Garments’ Company and force them to stop such denigration as the company has denigrated their worshipped Deity. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
2. The sellers have made an appeal through the handbills circulated amongst people for availing special ‘Morya discount’ on sale of shirts and trousers so as to seek ‘Bappa’s grace. (Sri Ganesha’s worship with ‘bhav’ (spiritual emotion) can only help to seek His blessings; how will such denigration of Sri Ganesh help to acquire His blessings ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )
3. Shri. Suresh Purohit of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti contacted the shop in Mahad (Dist. Raigad) where Parker shirts were kept for sale. He explained how it was wrong to denigrate Sri Ganesh through such advertisements. Representative of the shop accepted it; but again on the following day, the same advertisement was being distributed. (It indicates lack of ‘Dharmabhiman’ (Respect unto Dharma) amongst Hindus ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )
4. A representation was given by Shri. Purohit, Shiv Sena’s Shri. Ajay Mangade and Sou. Surekha Hirave of Sanatan Sanstha to Shri. Shahaji Patil, the owner of the shop at Mahad where Parker shirts were sold; while explaining to him the denigration of Sri Ganesh taking place through such advertisements. He then agreed and promised to send the representation to the main office at Pune and not to distribute controversial handbills again.
