Advertisement Denigrating Sree Ganesha published by The Election Commission of India
Mumbai:
The chief election officer of Maharashtra has inserted an advertisement on page 10 of Marathi daily ‘Dainik Maharashtra Times’ on behalf of Election Commission of India. In this advertisement published in connection with distribution of election identity cards in Khetwadi electorate for Legislative Assembly elections, Sree Ganesha has been deliberately ridiculed.
A mouse, the vehicle of Sree Ganesha asks Him, “O Lord, this year how have you arrived before time in Khetwadi?” On which Sree Ganesha replies, “No! No! People are crowding here as they are so eager to get their election identity cards.
