We recently came to know that you have released an advertisement on page no.10 of Maharashtra times dated 10th May 2007 on the eve of distributing Election Identity cards. Enclosed herewith photocopy of the news appeared in daily Sanatan Prabhat dated 15th May 2007 which is self-explanatory.
You have intentionally used Lord Ganesh to advertise your card. An almighty God will not appear to do your advertisement. Due to this you have denigrated Lord Ganesh and hurted religious feelings of millions of Hindus who are worshipping lord Ganesh. Hurting religious feelings is an offence as per section 295a and 153a of Constitution of India and we are going to start protests, campaign against election commission and take legal action. I am sure that you will not dare to show Mohmmad Paigambar or Jesu in plce of Lord Ganesh !

If you desire our delegation can discuss the issue at predetermined time within two days failing which we will be compelled to take necessary action against Election Commission.
