Mumbai: Kerala Government has declared ‘Raja Ravi Varma Award’ for anti-Hindu painter M F Hussain. A representation addressed to the chief minister of Kerala demanding withdrawal of the award conferred on Hussain was handed over by the members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to the District Collector. It was assured to them that feelings of HJS would be conveyed to the Government. A copy of the representation was also given for Chief Minister and the Dy. Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
The representation was given in the presence of Shri. Sunil Jadhav of ‘Samasta Hindu Aghadi’, Shri. Madhav Katkar of Datta Samaj Tarun Mandal, Shri. Mohan Sinh Raj Purohit of Raj Purohit Samaj, Shri. Hemant Borkar of BJP (Youth Party), members of Satyajyot Tarun Mandal and S/Shri Sunil Ghanavat and Dheeraj Bengarut of HJS.
