This play uses great Hindu epic Mahabharata as its base. But the producer Santosh Pawar had tried to show the incidences in Mahabharata in modern fashion. “Yada Kadachit” man “If this would have happened…” The play is full of scenes derogating the gods. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti protested against this play over many months and a large number of silent protests were held at the gates of theater. These protests created awareness in masses about the play, which eventually compelled the producer to withdraw the play.
