Artist withdraw derogatory painting of Hindu Gods

Shri Rajendra Kapse, an artist from Mumbai had exhibited his artworks in Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai. Most of the pictures were depicting Hindu deities in derogatory sense.

In First image, Shriram shown in a hero style.  Second image – Shri Ram, Seeta and Laxman with abnormal expressions on face, 3rd image – Lord Krishna as stylist model, 4th image -Trideva image distorted, 5th image – Radha teasing Shri Krishna.

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti had warned the artist that if exhibition was not stopped, he would have to face protests. The artist stopped his exhibitions the very next day and declared it closed.
