Efforts to end terrorism needed at war-footing

June 1, 2007

Pune (Maharashtra): Condition of terrorist-stricken country is very bad and we need to make efforts at war-footing to end terrorism. The above view was expressed by a 17 year youth after watching photo-exhibition of FACT organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). The boy came along with his classmates to see the exhibition. Views expressed by the youth after seeing the exhibition will be eye-openers for our rulers. They offered to help people affected by terrorism in Kashmir. One youth said that Hindus should stay together and should not change their religion for a few rupees. Some felt like doing something for the nation but did not know what to do. Some showed interest in participating in HJS activities. Many were not aware of the true situation in Kashmir and said that they felt very sad to see the pictures. They felt that wherever Hindus are in minority, there are problems so the only solution is awareness among Hindus and maintain its majority. The Government should take strict action against terrorists. Hindus should unite and teach a lesson to the Government.

Shri. Shantmuni Mahanubhava, Pracharak, Geeta Dnyan Yadnya said that it is important to elect Hindus, take up Dharma-prasar and awaken every Hindu. Hindus must vote for devout Hindus.

Pune (Maharashtra): Shri. Girish Dhumal, the Pune spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) said that Hindus are too indifferent towards their Dharma. They are divided due to casteism. They have developed a very narrow-minded attitude and not bothered about what is going around them. This is because of lack of education on Dharma. Shri. Dhumal was commenting on conversion of few Hindus to Buddhism. He also pointed out that secular (?) Chief Minister and Dy. CM attended the meeting held by Buddhists. Shri. Dhumal was speaking in the inauguration program of FACT photo-exhibition. Shri. Ashok Yenpure, a BJP corporator and Adv. Amarsinh Jadhavrao, the Editor of ‘Danik Rashtra-Tej’ were also present on the occasion. The exhibition will be held till 31st May 2007 at Udyan-prasad Mangal Karyalaya in Sadashiv Peth, Pune between 10.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m.

Adv. Amarsinh Jadhavrao said that people just read news about terrorism in Kashmir and forget about it. Therefore, such things are happening; but HJS is doing a great job of creating awareness among Hindus. Shri. Jadhavrao narrated his experience about legal battle fought against the financial aid given to Haj pilgrims. He said that it is a matter of concern as thick skinned and notorius rulers are unlikely to solve any problems of people.
