Pune: Shri. Mannanur Ravindran of Kerala Kshetrapalan Kendra Samiti (KKKS) said that it is the need of the hour that Hindus forget their castes and sects and region and come together as Hindus. Temples are the foundation of Dharma and should become centres of training on Dharma. He said that it is necessary to be aware and make others aware about the issue. A ‘Dharma-jagruti Sabha’ has been organized on 9 th June 07, Saturday at Swargate, Pune. In this context, a meeting was held at Nigadi, Pune on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and KKKS.
Shri. Ravindran said that Hindus have to build up their vote banks which will help whenever there are assaults on Hindu Dharma. Once the Government takes over management of temples, it will be next to impossible to take back the control over temples. The legal process for the same will be very time consuming. Therefore, it is necessary to agitate now. We must not think about either our victory or loss in this campaign and go ahead and have faith that God will help us. Trustees of Sree Ayyappa temple (Bhosari), Sree Ayyappa Seva Sangh (Talegaon) and Sree Ayyappa Mandir (Dehu Road) so also trustees of Sree Subramanyam Mandir, Sree Krushna Mandir, Sree Ayyappa Mandir (Vishrant Wadi) and members of HJS and Sanatan Sanstha attended the meeting.
Shri. Ravindran said that HJS has so far held 3 Dharma-jagruti Sabha. Every meeting costs about 1.50 to 2 lakhs of rupees. HJS has not a single temple of its own; but they are taking so much of pains to save temples and sincerely carrying on the campaigns.
