Mumbai: Two defamatory paintings of Kali Mata by Tayeb Mehta are for auction in Saffron Art Gallery Online Exhibition.
The “artistic intepretation” is depicting Sree Kalimata as a symbol of violence. Also, the paintings in themselves are very sickening in contrast to Devi’s divine beauty; they show Sree Kalimata as a bloodthirsty, unforgiving terrorist, and the demons slayed by Her as some helpless victims.
