Kolhapur (Maharashtra): ‘Sharadeeya Peeth’ is the oldest Peeth in Shrungeri. It was established for spreading Sanatan Vaidik Hindu Dharma. In many parts of the country such ‘Peeth’ were established to spread Dharma. It is the duty of every Peeth and ‘Peethadhish’ to spread Dharma. Everyone should follow ‘Dharmacharan’ to be happy, said Shankaracharya Jagatguru Bharatiteertha Mahaswami of Shrungeri Sharadeeya Peeth. He was on a 2-days visit to Kolhapur. He also guided people during his visit. Vidyashankar Bharati, the former Shankaracharya of Karveer Peeth, and the present Shankaracharya Vidyanrusimh Bharati also graced the program with their presence. Members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and seekers of Sanatan Sanstha called on Shankaracharya and presented him with a book titled ‘Kshatradharma Sadhana’ published by Sanatan Sanstha.
