Such patriotic and dharma loving officers are meagre – may be one in a million.

Kindly inform Sanatan Prabhat, if you have any experiences with such officers !

Crimes in a district in one state has considerably reduced as the district’s Superintendent is dutiful. He has earned respect of the locals too. Following are the qualities of this police officer as observed by a volunteer of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti

1. Seeker attitude in the officer !

1A. Love and humility : Every time, when the HJS volunteers go to meet the officer in his office, he stands up to greet them and also asks about their whereabouts with love and humbleness.

1B. Officer touching the feet of volunteer in obeisance upon being tied ‘rakhi’ : On occasion of  ‘Rakshabandan’, a lady volunteer of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti tied a ‘rakhi’ to the officer. Immediately, the officer bowed to touch her feet in obeisance. When she asked him not to do so, he humbly said that ‘this is the way we bow to touch sister’s feet to take her blessings.’ In many such incidents, I realized that the officer has low ego.

2. Officer striving to rebuild and protect the nation and dharma !

2 A. Efforts made by officer to prevent denigration of our flag on independence day : Last year, HJS volunteers had informed the officer that plastic national flags were being sold at one shop. Immediately, he sent some police and confiscated the plastic flags. This year, HJS volunteers gave a memorandum to the officer to stop denigration of the national flag and requested him to forward it to all police stations. He immediately agreed to do so and said that he would also publicize it through newspapers.

2 B. Officer granting permission to different HJS’ activisties for the cause of Nation and Dharma : Police officer immediately gave permission to display posters on dharmashikshan (Dharma-education) and a book stand in a temple’;s premises under his area and also helped to get donations through the temple trust to sponsor the posters. Mostly police under the pretext of the so-called secularism refuse to help to get such donations.

2 C. Police officer has a sense of pride in being a hindu and has a yearning to protect Dharma.

3. Officer’s opinion about HJS :

When this officer visited an exhibition of posters on various issues put up by HJS in a fair, he said, “What you are doing is excellent ! These activities must reach every village. Let me know if you want any help from me.”
