Nanded (Maharashtra): Guru Gobind Singh and Chhatarpati Shivaji Maharaj fought unrighteousness with swords. Even now, every Hindu should be armed for protection of self and Dharma. Sacrifices of revered leaders will stop atrocities on Hindus. The above views were expressed by Saint Pujya Baba Balwinder Singhji of Naginaghat Gurudwara in the inaugural program of photo-exhibition held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in association with FACT. The exhibition will be open till 16th July at Kala Mandir.

Vedashastra Sampanna Shri. Vishwas shastri Ghodajkar, Dr. Vivek Inamdar of Sawarkar Partishthan, Shri. Hemnat Patil, the district-chief of Shiv Sena for Nanded, Shri. Nikhil Laturkar, Shri. Navinbhai Thakkar and Smt. Anusuyatai Khedkar, MLA were present for the function.

Shri. Ghodajkar said that Hindus are responsible for such condition. When H. H. Shankaracharya was relieved after his arrest, the media did not give much importance to the news. Dr. Vivek Inamdar said that Hindus must leave their indifference, do not rely on others for their protection and do something for Dharma considering the past history.

Shri. Hemnat Patil said that if we keep quiet on such atrocities, tomorrow we will have to go through the same thing. He offered to help and participate in HJS activities. Shri. Sanjay Rambole explained the purpose of holding such exhibitions. About 150 people attended the inaugural ceremony.

Sanatan Sanstha, Yoga Vedant Samiti, Sawarkar Pratishthan, Shiv Sena, Brahman Mahasangh etc. helped HJS to organize the exhibition. People visiting the exhibition condemned the oppression of Hindus and showed their willingness to offer everything, their body, mind and wealth for the cause. Muslim visitors condemned the atrocities against Hindus but demanded ban on the exhibition claiming that it could affect communal harmony.

Two Muslims visiting the exhibition said that they were condemning attacks on Hindus. Similarly, Hindus should also condemn ‘Godhra massacre’. None of the religions teaches killing of followers of other religions. This exhibition can disturb communal harmony and should be banned.

(If so, why are Muslims killing Hindus calling them ‘kafirs? This is the ‘true’ nature of Mulsims. The purpose of this exhibition is to make Hindus aware towards terrorism. If Muslims are opposing the exhibition, it means that they are supporting terrorism.- Editor)
