Radhakrishna temple damaged

Thane (Maharashtra): Miscreants damaged Radhakrishna temple at the base of Mahuli fort in Shahapur taluka. After the incidents of theft of dome and silver umbrella from a temple in Thane, now this incident has taken place at the base of Mahuli fort that some unknown miscreants have damaged Radhakrishna temple. Pictures of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Sree Swami Samrtha Ramadas were drawn on the backside wall of the temple. It was earlier found that the Mahuli fort was used as a training centre of ‘SIMI’ members and Mumbai police had carried out a search of the fort.

(There is history of damage caused to Hindu temples by followers of other religions. Even after 60 years of independence, Hindu temples are not safe. Hindus must realize that assault on temples is like assault on existence of Hindus and they must unite to destroy temple attackers. – Editor)
