Lord Ganesh idol immersion: BMC’s anti-Hindu appeal

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Bruhan Municipal Corporation (BMC) has appealed to people to build artificial water tanks to immerse Sree Ganesh idols and to avoid use of thermacoal material to prevent degeneration of environment.

To prevent deterioration of ecology of the place, thermacoal should not be used in Sree Ganeshotsava. The idol should not be greater than 15 feet in height. Idol should be made of clay and soil. Big size idols are made from Plaster of Paris. Idols should not be painted with poisonous paints that have been banned. Shri made the above appeal. Kishor Gajbhiye, the additional Municipal Commissioner in a press conference held recently.

Ganesh festival is celebrated once in a year. Therefore, ban on using thermacoal for decorations will, in a way, put restrictions on celebration of the festival. This ban would affect even employment opportunities for Marathi population. Shri expressed the above views. Nandkumar Mulik and Shri. Kiran Anawane, officials of ‘Thermacoal Decorartion Association’ formed recently.

(As per the science, Sree Ganesh idols are to be immersed in running water. But MMC run by Shiv Sena, the party of so-called devout Hindus is thus against Dharma. It has been nowhere mentioned in Hindu Dharma-Shastra to make decorations causing harm to environment. Those using Dharma as a shield to further their business are Dharma-drohis – Editor)
