Govt. should not pass any Act imposing restriction on Hindus

Chiplun (Maharashtra): A Resolution was passed against passing of the ‘Maharashtra Eradication of Black Magic and Evil and Aghouri Practices Act, 2005’ in the taluka general meeting at Chiplun. The proposal was presented by Shri. Ramesh Kadam, MLA of NCP and was seconded by Shri. Suresh Lad, a member of Zilha Parishada. (Congratulations to Shri. Ramesh Kadam for opposing such anti-Hindu Act .- Editor)

Shri. Kadam said on the occasion that saints, Dharma-Gurus and erudite from the field of religion should be consulted on the draft of the said Act. Till this is not done, the Act should not be passed as it is a matter related to religious sentiments of Hindus. (It is unfortunate that the Chief Minister and Dy. Chief Minister do not realize what Shri Kadam could understand – Editor). The resolution passed in the general body meeting shows that all representatives and people of Chiplun oppose the above Act. (Every taluka should pass such resolution and show their opposition to the Act – Editor). The resolution has been sent to the Government.
