Anti-Hindu organizations kept away from places of immersion!

Pune (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) recently gave a representation to the Police Commissioner with an appeal that police should keep away anti-immersion organizations from places of immersion. In this connection, Smt. S. S. Turekar, Assistant Police Commissioner assured the delegation of HJS that organizations against immersion would be kept at bay from the sites of immersion.

On the advice of the Police Commissioner, delegation of HJS met Smt. Turekar, ACP and explained to her the significance of immersing Sree Ganesh idols. Similar representation was also submitted to Shri. Chintamani Joshi, the Dy. District Collector of Pune. It has been appealed in the representation to provide protection in view of row over immersion of idols among two groups. Shri. Deed bhai, Shri. Vilas Gurav, Mrs. Sujata Gurav of  Inam Mukti Sangharsh Samiti, Shri. Sudhakar Kedari, its Vice President, and members of HJS were present on the occasion.
