Mocking Advertisement by Fevicol; Lord Yama denigrated

Namaskar —–
I was surprised that you have circulated this advertisement which is a rank ridicule of Hindu mythology and scriptures. Yama Dev has been shown in a bad light. In fact, the Yama represents the principle of dissolution. There are three main principles that are responsible for running the entire universe – principles of Creation, Sustenance and Dissolution.
1. In the advt, Fevicol is shown to be having an upper hand on the Deity of Dissolution.
2. It is shown that Fevicol has humbled Yam Raj and this is highly insulting to the Hindus.
Why they should use Hindu deities for publicity of their products? Are Hindu gods and goddesses so cheap that anyone can use them for their petty purposes? We should not only prevent circulation of the ad through e-mail and other media but we should strongly protest the Fevicol management for hurting the sentiments of the Hindus.
Will Fevicol management show enough daring to show Jesus Christ stuck to a Cross with Fevicol instead of being nailed and write a slogan – “Fevicol ‘keela’ se bhi pakka jod lagaye”?
Please let me know where in which paper this ad has been published. I shall not only protest the newspaper concerned but the management of Fevicol also.
I am forwarding copy of this mail to Hindu Janjagruti Samiti also for necessary action at their end.

Fevicol has used Lord Yama’s image for cheap commercial gain and thus hurt sentiments of Hindus. Such advertisements are attacks on Hindu faith and thus all Hindus should protest it. – Editor
