Strong demand to restructure corrupt Central Film Censor Board as it has crossed all limits by issuing certificates to vulgar, anti-national and anti-Dharma movies
‘I will tell you the future of your country from the songs which youth from your country are humming!’- Swami Vivekananda
Today, our youth are singing all vulgar, anti-national and anti-Dharma songs; so we can also tell about future of this country
Chinchwad-Pune (Maharashtra) : Swami Vivekananda had said, “I will tell you the future of your country from the songs which youth from your country are humming!’ Today, our youth are singing all vulgar, anti-national and anti-Dharma songs; so we can also tell about future of this country. Anti-national, anti-Dharma films spreading vulgarity in society are the cause of corrupting today’s young generation. Central Censor Board, which is issuing certificates to such films for release, is corrupt and should be dissolved by constituting new committee. At least two persons from religious field like Dharmacharya, Saints, H.B. P. Maharaj etc. can be appointed on this committee. If Hindus have any doubt about a film before its release, it should be shown to persons who have knowledge of Hindu Dharma and only after their approval, should it be released. The above demand has been made by Shri. Parag Gokhale of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), with the Central Government.
Censor Board, that issued certificate of release to controversial films like ‘Rang Rasiya’ which has character assassination of great Indian artist Raja Ravi Verma and a film like ‘Haider’ which is aimed at disturbing unity and integrity of India, should be dissolved by forming a new committee that will take note of Hindus’ religious sentiments and culture. HJS and other pro-Hindu organizations staged demonstrations on 9thNovember for the above demand in which about 150 devout Hindus participated. Shiv Sena’s Shri. Gajanan Dhavade, other eminent personalities, youth members of ‘Shiva-vandana’ from Balewadi joined the demonstrations. Shiv Sena’s municipal councilor, Sou. Sulabhatai Ubale said that as a Hindu citizen and Shiv Sainik, she extended support to the agitation for dissolving Central Censor Board; so also directors and actors who were associated with such films.
‘Bharat Swabhiman’s Dr. Ajit Jagatap made an appeal to people to boycott such films through which conspiracy of love jihad is hatched. Had police utilized same time for eradication of terrorism, it would have been put to good use.
• Policemen including lady police were deployed at the place where demonstrations were staged and they video-recorded demonstrations.
