Future generations should study Vedas and reinstate Bharat in the position of Vishwaguru – Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao

Pune (Maharashtra) : Vedas have a history that goes back thousands of years. Today, the Guru-disciple relationship persists, thanks to those who study the Vedas. Many present day inventions and discoveries have been outlined in the Vedas. Research, along with the study of the Vedas, is important. Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao stressed on the need for the future generations to study the Vedas and reinstate Bharat in the position of “Vishwaguru”. He was speaking during the concluding ceremony of the Silver jubilee celebrations of Ved Bhavan.

The Hon’ble Governor also presented the ‘Vinayak Bhatt Ghaisas Guruji Sarasvati upasana’ award to the ‘Sant Shri Dnyaneshwar Ved Vidya Pratishthan’. Vedmurti Durgadas Mulye accepted the award on behalf of the Pratisthan. The award includes a citation and a cash prize of
25,000 Rupees.

The program was attended by computer scientist Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, Shri. Krushnakumar Goyal (President, Cosmos Bank), Dr. Sudarshan Sharma (Maharshi Sandipani Ved Vidya Pratisthan), Shri. Anna Joshi (trustee, Ved Bhavan) and Vedacharya Moreshwar Ghaisas guruji. Ghaisas guruji welcomed the guests on the dias.

Dr. Bhatkar expressed his opinion unlike the Vedas, Science is transient. Necessary progress can be availed only through Vedas, Dharma and Spirituality. Numerous cultures around the world are facnig extinction, but the Ved sanskruti is here to stay. Sanskrut is the mother of all languages, so we should make efforts to learn it. he also said that ‘one who knows Sanskrut, can learn any language of the world’.

Highlight : Dr. Madhav Kelkar compered the entire program in Sanskrut.
