Bangalore (Karnataka): Rashtriya Hindu Sena leader Pramod Muthalik today demanded apology and resignation from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for his statement on Lord Rama and questioned about the engineering college in which he (Rama) had studied.
Talking to newsmen here, he said that Karunanidhi should not have touched the sentiments and faith of the Hindus living in the country. "Mr Karunanidhi should tender apology and quit Chief Minister post immediately. Until we succeed in getting both these demands fulfilled the Sri Rama Sene would continue its agitation", he added.
Congratulating the culprits involved last night incidents of torching Tamil Nadu bus in which two passengers were charred to death and stone pelting on the house of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi’s residence in the City, he said that the agitation against Mr Karunanidhi would be intensified and would not stop until he (Mr Karunanidhi) tenders apology and resigns from Chief Minister post.
Replying to a question, Mr Muthalik said that Sri Rama Sena activities were not involved in the last night incidents. "But I congratulate those who did".
"All religions should be respected equally and henceforth we will not sit quite and will not be remain as silent spectators for the atrocities on Hindus by who ever he may be" he declared.
