Insensitive Hindus solely responsible for atrocities on Kashmiri Hindus!: Ramdas Kelkar

By Staff Reporter

Pernem (Goa): Insensitive Hindus are solely responsible for the atrocities being inflicted on Kashmiri Hindus, said Shri. Ramdas Kelkar, a teacher at Khalap Higher Secondary School, Mandrem and resident of Koniwada, Kolwaal. He was speaking at the FACT produced photo-exhibition organised by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) from 10 am to 8 pm at the Grampanchayat Hall, Revoda, Bardez, Goa.

This exhibition was inaugurated by lighting of the deep by the Sarpanch of the Panchayat Mrs. Asha Naik. At this time, the Deputy Sarpanch Mrs. Lalita Phadte, Panchayat member Shri. Satish Harmalkar, HJS member Shri. Datta Parab and Sanatan Sanstha’s Shri. Baji Parab were also present. During his talk on this occasion Shri. Ramdas Kelkar said, ‘The awareness being created by the HJS and Sanatan Sanstha all over India, with regard to true facts about the atrocities meted out to Kashmiri Hindus by terrorists, is highly commendable. Political parties do not undertake anything like this because such activities do not fetch them votes. Christians and Muslims devote time for their respective religion. How much time do Hindus devote for theirs? The atrocities inflicted on Kashmiri Hindus leaves hair standing on ends! By inflicting injustice on the Kashmiri Hindu Pandits, the terrorists conducted their first practical. The Hindus of this country kept mum and did not retaliate against them. The Government too did not intervene. This increased the enthusiasm of the terrorists. Thereafter, there was a tremendous increase in the injustice. Insensitive Hindus doing nothing for the country and religion give slogans ‘Say with pride that we are Hindus.’ Do they deserve to give this slogan? Despite being a Hindu majority, Hindu deities are denigrated in India. Hussain is earning huge sums of money by painting Hindu deities in the nude; however Hindus do not seem to even acknowledge this denigration because they are insensitive.

Support HJS’s mission!

People should come forward and support the public awareness activity undertaken by the HJS and Sanatan Sanstha across the country. If they do not wish to support them, they should at least not criticize them. I pray to God that Sanatan Sanstha and HJS be able to carry on this mission in the best possible way.

60 persons were present at the inaugural function while 110 others visited the exhibition throughout the day.
